Banned Artificial Colors

The only color scheduled to be banned that Southern Snow uses is Red 3. Red 3 is used in two flavors-Orchid Cream Vanilla and Lychee. This ban will not go into effect until at least 2027 or later. Other color bans are still being considered and we do not have a timeline for these. Once colors are banned, Southern Snow will not be able to use these colors. There may be natural color replacements. There may be an exemption for fun foods such as snowballs, popcorn, cotton candy, and hard candy. They may only require a warning label. If a ban goes into effect Southern Snow will not be able to produce flavors with banned colors. All the flavors at your snowball outlet can be used until you run out of them. You will not have to dump them out.
